We are looking for a mid-level campus recruiter to join the Talent Acquisition team to be based in Richmond VA., to focus primarily on recruiting students to join CoStar Group. This individual will be responsible for attracting top quality undergraduate-level talent in a variety of roles to CoStar Group while operating with flawless candidate and client execution.

As a campus recruiter, you will play a role in achieving CoStar Group business objectives and hiring targets by building strategic relationships with universities, including professors, administration, student groups and individual students. Additionally, you will be responsible for continuing to innovate new ideas and methods to engage with students. Internally, you will be the evangelist for campus recruiting and partner with lines of business to ensure we are attracting and cultivating top talent to be the future leaders of our company. As CoStar Group continues to grow and develop, so does our Recruiting organization, so in this role, you will also be an integral part in growing and implementing talent acquisition marketing, branding and recruiting processes to academic institutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and manage a candidate pipeline from target organizations, develop a sourcing strategy, properly assess candidate qualifications, and present and close opportunities effectively.

  • Promote the employment brand and value proposition of CoStar on campus and with students.

  • Stay well-informed of trends and innovative campus recruiting techniques to be competitive in hiring the best talent.

  • Adjust easily in a dynamic environment and have passion for the company and your craft.

  • Become an expert in the campus marketing and branding space, understand business strategy and priorities, and can build and grow talent networks to support business needs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business, marketing, or a related field

  • 2-5 years of experience in either a campus recruiting position, business development or some other equivalent within the University system

  • Experience supporting recruitment efforts on campus

  • Experience with business development/talent management activities with university staff and career services departments

  • A drive for results, you are inquisitive, and are a strong relationship-builder

  • Client-focused orientation

  • Great interpersonal and team-building skills

  • Experience using Handshake to coordinate on-site or virtual student events/meet-and-greets, or another campus recruiting ATS and/or CRM Excellent

  • A current and valid driver’s license (or the ability to obtain a driver’s license prior to start date) is required

  • Satisfactory completion of a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check prior to start. Driving history must reflect responsible driving behavior and compliance with traffic laws

  • Ability to regularly drive for extended periods and intermittently throughout the workday

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • You are a pro with applicant tracking systems (we use Workday and Eightfold) as well as LinkedIn Recruiter, and Facebook. Experience utilizing job boards, target company cold-calling, and other sourcing mechanisms to identify candidates.

  • Experience and understanding of campus recruiting strategies. Understands how to contribute to the branding of a company to undergraduates and graduates.

  • Experience building relationships with university administrators, student clubs and organizations, and ability to cultivate interest in CoStar with individual students

  • Strong knowledge of common human resources practices, employment laws and/or government compliance regulations that affect recruitment.
