SUMMARY Reporting to the Quality Systems Supervisor. The Quality Technician role is responsible for maintaining and supporting improvement of facility Food Safety and Quality programs primarily during NO Shift hours (10:30 pm-7am). The Quality Technician will be familiar with all Food Safety and Quality policies and procedures related to manufacturing of Pepperidge Farm snack items (Cookies and Crackers) and will lead compliance to Quality programs by partnering with operations, sanitation, maintenance, and distribution team members on the Night Owl shift to ensure the production of safe, quality food. This position will conduct routine tasks as well as support various responsibilities within the Quality Assurance Department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *  First point of contact to respond to all Food Safety and Quality incidents on NO shift *  Provide support and training to all NO teams. *  Track and process finished product holds and dispositions using SAP warehouse inventory management system. *  Completion of various Quality clerical duties, including: * Document verification and archiving * Document distribution * Quality document updates, creation and control *  COA verification, filing and working with vendors for required documentation *  Analytical Instruments and Equipment verification, maintenance and calibration *  Environmental Monitoring and laboratory testing *  Support all QA Dept. roles in managing Food Safety and Quality systems *  Special Project and Tasks (as assigned by Quality Systems Technologist)

EDUCATION and/ or EXPERIENCE B.A./B.S. in Business, Food Science or related field is preferred. 1-3 years previous manufacturing, quality or food safety experience is desired Strong interpersonal skills are required. Must have knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are required.

COMPENSATION and BENEFITS: The starting rate for this full-time, hourly position is $21.75.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
