JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for answering telephone calls and providing professional introduction for the department. Provides department support as needed.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists and directs the public, both calls and in person, to proper group. Performs typing tasks for staff members as needed. Maintains log of visitors and packages. Inputs data into computer as required. Uploads approved permits into system and issues to applicant. Collects fees and processes department deposits. Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.

REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/GED. One year job related office/clerical experience. Strong computer and typing skills (minimum 35 WPM). Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and deal effectively with the public and all levels of employees.

SALARY RANGE: $15.71 - $19.64 per hour based on qualifications.
