Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a QA to join one of Canada's largest Retailers. This individual will be responsible for Designing, developing and implementing a test plan, test strategy and test cases in collaboration with developers and product owners throughout the software development life cycle to ensure the quality of the web application. The successful candidate will be comfortable with both Manual and Automated testing with a split of 60% automation and 40% Manual.

Skills and Requirements

2+ Years of QA experience (enterprise experience would be a tremendous asset)

University Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent.

Advanced knowledge of Automated Testing Tools such as Playwright and the existing framework in Selenium.

Hands-on experience with Programming/ Scripting Languages like JavaScript, Java, Python and PowerShell.

Hands on experience with scripting language such as SQL for relational DB testing, experience working with non-relational databases such cosmosDB.

Advanced knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman for manual and automated API testing.

Hands-on experience with API performance testing tools such as JMeter/ K6.

Knowledge of working with monitoring and analyzing tools such as Datadog and Splunk.

Fundamental knowledge of DevOps and Git.

Advanced knowledge of automated testing configuration, build and release management or successful completion of approved Automation Tool course.

Experienced in Agile Testing, STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) and DLC (Defect life cycle).

Demonstrated experience with developing and running SQL queries at an intermediate level.

Expert knowledge of Test Planning and execution for Functional and Non-Functional Testing. Prior E-commerce/ Retail background null
