The 324 D4 Project Manager (PM) provides technical direction as required along with overall management and maintenance of the field execution schedule (FES). The FES is a critical tool in driving field work to the timely completion of milestones and it is the tool that links field progress with earned value performance. The 324 Project Manager will be responsible for executing the following: * The PM is responsible for all aspects of field work by ensuring work is planned and performed in a safe and compliant manner within cost and schedule expectations. * Ensures the project field execution schedule (FES) accurately displays the necessary activities to meet company PBI, TPA milestones, contract deliverables, and End States. * Works closely with project controls to update FES activities, adjust durations, and identify project priority decisions. * Leads FES status meetings and any necessary follow-on meetings driving responsible resources to maintain ahead of schedule dates by paying close attention to schedule slips and total float. * Ensures the overall team is functioning properly and problems are resolved quickly when they arise. * Reports to management as needed. * Gives timely notification and status to management and the customer of problems and issues. * Drives contract formation and award and subsequent to completion. * Identifies field staffing and resource needs/issues. * Keeps field staff focused on safe, effective work by anticipating and removing distractions, and applying correction when needed. * The PM ensures the company and task order objectives are met. * Provides direct supervision of project staff, subcontracted support staff, contract procurement and coordination with support organizations. * Provides project status and strategic vision to organizational and CPCCo senior management, clients and various stakeholders, as requested. Basic Qualifications * Manager Grade 22 - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 12 years of relevant experience * Manager Grade 23 - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 14 years of relevant experience. The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.
