Overview: ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Nuclear Project Manager position will manage projects independently, leading teams of over ten on complex multidisciplinary tasks. This role will be planning, scheduling, overseeing budgets, coordinating with finance, and mentoring other managers. Strong leadership and project management proficiency are essential. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA. Pay rate: $54.72 - $95.73 Benefits: * Sick Leave: One hour of paid sick leave for every 40-hours worked (sick leave can be used after 90-days of employment) * EAP: Employee Assistance Program * Benefit Options: Medical, HSA, Group Life/AD&D, Voluntary Life/AD&D, Voluntary Short-Term Disability, Voluntary Long-Term Disability, Voluntary Critical Illness, Voluntary Accident, 401k (eligible after one year and 1,000 hours worked - employer match up to 4%) * Other benefits include the following: Calm App, Access Perks Responsibilities: * Manage project activities for refueling outages, forced outages, and on-line work, ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, and budget compliance. * Oversee all aspects of project implementation, including budget management, work package preparation, parts procurement, ALARA planning, industrial and nuclear safety, clearance order preparation, work prioritization, resource loading, risk management, and work execution. * Resolve schedule delays and conflicts, ensuring smooth project progression. * Develop and track project budgets, ensuring alignment with cost and resource projections. * Interface frequently with clients, engineers, related parties, and management to ensure proper progress and focus. * Develop and manage contracts, maintaining effective vendor relationships. * Create project schedules aligned with project complexity and size, managing risk, tracking progress, enforcing accountability, and overseeing critical path and float. * Prepare and deliver written and oral communications to various groups, including senior management. * Develop and maintain long-range plan strategies for assigned projects. * Support effective implementation of the Columbia Generating Station Self-Assessment and Corrective Action Program. * Provide outage support, including involvement in the Outage Control Center (OCC). Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or a related field from an accredited college or university and 14 years of experience in a technical field; * OR AA/AS degree and 16 years of experience in a technical field; * OR High School Diploma or GED and 18 years of experience in a technical field. * Advanced degree in a related field of study or business may substitute for two years of experience. * Commercial Nuclear Experience Required. * PMP Certification (Project Management Professional) is required. * Active certification required. * RO/SRO License or CGS Management Certificate. * Construction Management Certificate. * Extensive experience as a direct supervisor or project manager in the commercial nuclear industry, focusing on maintenance, operations, engineering, or construction. * Experience in nuclear plant operator production coordination and work management for plant production. * Proficient in error reduction, human performance improvement methods, and cost-effective work execution methodologies. * Experience managing complex projects, on-line work management, or refueling and forced outage-related activities. * Advanced project management techniques in Commercial Nuclear Power Plants or similar facilities. * Supervisory exper To view the full job description,
