A clients of ours in the construction industry is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk in the Richardson, TX area on a contract-to-hire basis. The selected candidate will be responsible for handling invoices, managing the accounts payable (AP), and maintaining accurate records, among other duties.

Responsibilities:

• Processing invoices sent via email effectively and accurately

• Matching purchase orders (PO's) to invoices, ensuring all details align

• Entering A/P data into QuickBooks, preparing it for approval

• Managing all aspects of invoice processing, including identifying open invoices, whether paid or unpaid

• Utilizing QuickBooks, Excel, and Adobe for various tasks

• Monitoring and managing vendor invoices, identifying taxable and non-taxable items

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets for tracking material tickets by job and project

Requirements

Requirements:

• Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role.

• Knowledge and experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is required.

• The applicant should have experience in performing Check Runs.

• Proficiency in Coding Invoices is a key requirement for this job.

• The candidate should have strong Data Entry skills.

• Experience in Invoice Processing is necessary for this role.

• The applicant should be proficient in using Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas)

• Knowledge and experience in using QuickBooks is a requirement for this job.
