Produce Automotive Interior Product Designs and Engineering solutions for mass-production using CATIA V4/V5, generating 3D/2D data.  Maintain project schedules.  Develop and create unique product designs to customer specifications. Use CATIA V4/V5 to create solid models and other analytical data. Support client as guest engineer.  Work with prototype at TS Tech to assist with prototype builds. Work with vendor to ensure proper creation of design concepts. Attend weekly engineering meeting and all meetings per model project needs.  Work on annual project per Design Manager request. Prepare and present technical documentation and project technical presentations.  Work with internal and external Customers, Sales, Purchasing, Product Engineering, Prototype, Testing, Sister Companies, Suppliers, and primary customer to create prototype and mass production products.  Telecommuting optional - must be onsite at least 3 days a week and subject to hybrid work policy. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Design, Mechanical Eng., Industrial Eng., or Manufacturing Eng.  6 yrs relevant professional exp. incl. 5 yrs exp. using CATIA v5 design software; 6 yrs exp. in automotive design standards; and 6 yrs exp. in product design of injection molded plastic, specifically in door trim.
