Need 6 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operators to work in Renville, MN. From: 08/15/2024 - 12/31/2024 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon.-Sat. 8 hrs./day Workers will be paid overtime in accordance with Minnesota Statute 177, specifically 177.25 Subdivision 1 and/or 177.23 Subdivision 7(2). Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. Must Apply By: 10/24/2023 JOB DUTIES: Drive and operate farm machinery to harvest crops. Adjust, service and repair farm machinery. Maintenance of the farm shop, which includes sweeping farm shop floor and cleaning grain bins. Dig, cut, and transplant seedlings. Repair farm buildings, fences and other farm structures. Sweeping and cleaning shop area and grounds. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) months experience. Valid Driver's License (Class D) or able to obtain within 30 days of hire. Extensive sitting or walking, frequent stooping or bending over, extensive sitting and walking required. Able to lift 60 lbs. No minimum education required. Employer requires drug screen post-hire. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
