PACCAR Inc. Assistant Materials Manager - Managed Dealer Inventory (MDI) in Renton, Washington

Requisition Summary Provide leadership and direction in support of Department and Division strategic objectives. Promote policies and programs that ensure outstanding retail availability and dealer engagement throughout the PACCAR dealer network. Identify and complete enhancements to PACCAR's aftermarket supply chain. Foster an atmosphere of continuous improvement and inclusiveness. Job Functions / Responsibilities Promote Dealer Network retail growth by leading a team of Program Managers and Analysts to increase retail stocking availability while optimizing inventory turns. Support policy initiatives to decrease emergency order percentages, forecast error, and retail surplus and obsolescence. Monitor performance tracking of MDI metrics and provide feedback as necessary in pursuit of department objectives. Oversee and manage internal strategic projects related to improvements in supply chain and dealer uptime. Develop yearly department and capital budgets. Develop Program Managers and Analysts through training, delegation, and employee engagement. Champion and actively manage Continuous Improvement projects and Business Intelligence Projects by designing efficient solutions to promote further efficiencies within MDI. Maintain outstanding working relationships and foster a collaborative environment with marketing, sales, administration, customers, and suppliers as necessary to build exceptional customer relations and meet team goals. Skills / Competencies Supply Chain Management, Inventory Control, or Operations Management experience Experience managing Capital projects. Advanced PC skills and ability to understand data from a variety of sources. Excellent interpersonal and issue resolution skills. Ability to manage under difficult and stressful situations. Supply Chain Management or Demand Planning experience. Strong negotiation skills. Six Sigma experience. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Analytics or related field required Masters Degree is a plus Seven or more years of related professional experience required (i.e. supply chain management, inventory control, or operations experience) Four or more years of managerial experience desired Supply Chain Management, Inventory control or product distribution experience. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for this position is $110,600 - $142,100annually.
