Job Purpose Summary

The SENIOR MANAGER, CHANNEL PARTNERS, OPHTHALMOLOGY will play a critical role in driving year-over-year revenue growth by acting as the primary sales contact between the company and our OEM, Distribution, Private Label, and select commercial partners.

What you will do

  • Develop, manage and grow strategic relationships with both current and prospective OEM, Distribution, and Private Label customers.

  • Conduct effective and strategic sales planning, including creating business plan to identify prospects, opportunities and gaps by customer and channel type.

  • Gather account-level intel from resources like website, industry reports, and Salesforce.

  • Scan territory and prioritize sales opportunities to ensure time and resources are leveraged for pipeline growth.

  • Set overall schedule to complete tasks and activities.

  • Act as the single point of contact for internal stakeholders, including Marketing, Supply Chain, Field Sales, and Customer Service for our Channel Partners customers. Act as the customer “quarterback” between partner and Corza Ophthalmology.

  • Drive revenue enhancement and training ideas to channel partners, enabling these partners to grow market share of Corza products and services.

  • Create and manage channel partner budgets and forecasts.

  • Measure and report on performance of top channel partners.

  • Continually gathers information on the competitive landscape, prevalent industry trends, and business climate within the territory and shares it with the company.

  • Attend trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings as needed.

  • Understand and comply with applicable customer policies, HIPAA, and vendor requirements.

  • Monitor competitive activity to ensure that Corza is abreast of competitive and new developments in the marketplace and remains in the forefront of the industry.

  • Understand the issues at all levels of the customer's organization including strategic, departmental and individual needs; seek to understand the customer's perceptions of market trends, use cases, plus potential product needs.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned or required.

What you will need

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.

  • A minimum of five years sales management experience in Ophthalmology or related field.

  • Proficient with CRM platform (Salesforce.com).

  • Highly organized and has very effective time management skills.

  • Highly customer focused.

  • Excellent selling and presentation skills.

  • Proven track record of top sales performance, sales awards.

  • Strong negotiating skills and capacity.

  • Must be able to analyze financial information.

  • Credibility and thought leadership around our Ophthalmology products.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including strong listening skills.

  • Working knowledge of Windows, MS Office, PowerPoint as well as networks and internet applications.

  • Up to 25% travel domestically.
