As a vital member of our client-facing Enterprise Analytics team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering advanced solutions using potential synergies between SharePoint Online (SPO) and Microsoft Power Platform. We are seeking a dedicated Microsoft Digital Transformation Architect who can lead our strategic initiatives and collaborate seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Summary: The Microsoft Digital Transformation Architect will spearhead the strategic planning, development, and implementation of SharePoint Online (SPO) and Microsoft Power Platform technologies across our client’s analytical organization. This role is crucial for ensuring these technologies are aligned with their business objectives, driving digital transformation, and enhancing productivity and collaboration. You will work closely with enterprise leaders, IT teams, and external partners to deliver innovative solutions that support business processes, improve user experience, and enhance analytical capabilities and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Platform that also aligns with existing analytical tool suites and technologies

  • Align technology initiatives with enterprise objectives and priorities

  • Advocate for the adoption of best practices and innovative solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem

  • Lead and manage projects related to the implementation and enhancement of Microsoft technologies

  • Architect and design scalable solutions using SharePoint Online and Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)

  • Ensure seamless integration of these solutions with other enterprise systems

  • Collaborate with enterprise leaders to understand requirements and identify opportunities for technology improvements

  • Provide expert guidance and training to stakeholders on Microsoft technologies

  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of solutions

  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities for team members.

  • Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement

  • Establish governance frameworks to ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements as they relate to SharePoint Online and Power Platform

  • Implement and enforce best practices for data management, security, and privacy within Microsoft solutions hosted in the Azure Government environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on Microsoft technologies

  • Deep expertise in SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Platform

  • Strong understanding of cloud computing, SaaS, and enterprise IT architecture

  • Experience with Azure services and integration with other Microsoft products

  • Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams

  • Strong project management skills, including experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions

  • Demonstrated ability to drive digital transformation initiatives

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to obtain US DoD Security Clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance or higher is desired

  • Familiar with Azure cloud services and data pipelines

  • Experience in a consulting role, providing strategic advice to stakeholders

  • Familiarity with data analytics and business intelligence tools

  • Microsoft certifications in Azure, SharePoint, and Power Platform are a plus
