Responsibilities
Develop content for strategic meetings with clients regarding M&A or capital market transactions
Interact with senior team members and client management teams on a daily basis to execute transactions and discuss strategic alternatives
Defining, guiding and reviewing detailed valuation analysis, including DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables and LBO analyses
Defining, guiding and reviewing detailed combination and other financial analyses in the context of M&A transactions or pitch situations
Provide leadership, mentorship and supervision to Associates and Analysts
Participate in graduate recruiting
Required Qualifications
Undergraduate Degree in Business (Accounting, Finance, Business Admin, Economics, etc.)
Series 7 & 63 (within six months of employment)
Strong quantitative skills, including financial modeling and financial statement analysis
Quantitatively and financially oriented, possessing the ability to succinctly express ideas
Strong team player with a positive can-do attitude and desire to be part of a close-knit group operating in an intensive and challenging work environment
Excellent organization, communication and research skills
Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
Prior work experience in investment banking
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior work experience in Real Estate Investment Banking
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $175,000 to $225,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
