Airborne Systems Business Area has an opening for an Aviation Mission Management Information Systems Integrator. This position will integrate flight, logistics and maintenance information into software programs to produce company and customer driven reporting and airworthiness status.
THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities)
The Aviation Information Systems Integrator responsibilities includes objective evaluation and review of all aircraft maintenance requirements and associated maintenance records and work packages to ensure completeness to electronically track the requirements of FAA FAR Part 91 and DOD Airworthiness Requirements (AWR) regulatory requirements as well as Leidos policies to include, but not limited to;
Safe for Flight records
Flight Sheet Times & Cycles
Discrepancy Sheets
Work Orders
Material Usage
Phase Inspection sheets
Employee Training
Provide support and training to aviation personnel for the entry of maintenance work packages, flight information, logistics and inventory actions and training into an Aviation Mission Management Information System
Understand current specifications involving inspection tolerances, limitations, and procedures established by the manufacturer of the airframe, engine, propeller and appliances being maintained
Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Aircraft Maintenance teams to ensure continuity within the Aviation Mission Management Information System of FAA, DCMA, Army, ISO, IS-BAO and Leidos requirements
Ensure Mission Equipment Package (MEP) maintenance and inspections are in accordance with established Leidos policies, and OEM procedures or other acceptable or approved technical data
Provide on call “Help Desk” support for working issues associated with the operation of the Aviation Mission Management Information System software.

WHAT SETS YOU APART (basic qualifications)
Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience or Associate Degree and 6 years aircraft flight operations and maintenance management software experience; additional years of experience may be used in lieu of degree
FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certification
Ability to read and follow aircraft OEM technical publications
Thorough understanding of aircraft records management
Familiar with General Aviation, Turboprop and Business Jet operations
Experience reviewing aircraft records and updating aircraft maintenance tracking software
Articulate communication skills
Proficient with data entry
Proficient using the Microsoft Office suite of software
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Active DOD Secret Clearance

Pay Range:
Pay Range $81,250.00 - $146,875.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
