Responsibilities

The Accounting Manager will support the accounting aspects of acquisitions and divestitures. The major responsibilities will be managing the due diligence process as well as coordinating the transition planning activities with key internal and external stakeholders. An ideal candidate has strong accounting skills, proven ability to organize and lead complex activities, business acumen for collaborating with external clients and a proactive approach to financial oversight.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for accounting matters related to acquisitions and divestitures for internal and external collaborators.

• Support the due diligence process for accounting, including preparing and reviewing financial statements, identifying potential issues, and ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the transaction lifecycle.

• Strong understanding of our accounting system and processes.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to varying levels of an organization.

• Continuous improvement mentality.

Requirements

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

• 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
