Job Description

Successful candidate leverages specialized knowledge and skills with retirement plans, endowments, foundations, governmental plans, and other institutional investment solutions to collaborate and develop sales growth for Raymond James associate or affiliated advisors. By supporting our advisors through the sales process, the advisor growth consultant creates more opportunities to support the transfer of assets. Our associates are evaluated based on their achievements and are compensated for successfully achieving or exceeding their goals and objectives. To excel in this role, a strong background in advisor-facing sales of financial products and in activating growth campaigns is essential. This role will focus on driving adoption of the Raymond James 3(38) and 3(21) solution set. Extensive contact with both internal and external customers is required to identify, research, analyze, and assist in solving complex issues. This position provides strategic support for various asset-building and revenue-generating activities, ensuring we are always moving forward and growing.

Compensation opportunity for this position is within the range of $230,000 to $370,000 base and incentive bonus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists with creating business development tactics with advisors.

  • Drives AUM and revenue growth for Institutional Fiduciary Solutions (IFS) with a focus on targeted advisors and RIAC members.

  • Implements sales strategies by identifying client needs and offering comprehensive solutions.

  • Enhances the professional development of Financial Advisors (FAs) through selling skills, techniques, and product knowledge.

  • Communicates and reinforces strategic initiatives.

  • Participates in sales calls and meetings to improve communication with the sales team.

  • Responds to inquiries, follows up, and gathers background information.

  • Researches competitor firms and maintains current information.

  • Participates in conference calls with FAs and clients.

  • Manages CRM activity logs and other requisite data.

  • Supports recruiting efforts and participates in Home Office Visits (HOVs).

  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Education/Previous Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, with at least five years of experience in the financial services industry,

  • or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.

Licenses/Certifications

  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam required, unless exempt or grandfathered.

  • FINRA Series 7 and Series 66, with the ability to obtain other necessary licenses within 60 days of hire.

  • AIF, CRPS, CFP, or similar accreditation within six months of hire.
