PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $100,900.00-$123,200.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $78,400.00 - $145,800.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE :

As a Treasury Analyst at BECU, you'll be at the core of our financial health and stability. Your expert analysis in asset liability management, capital management, liquidity, investments, pricing, FTP, and hedging will be instrumental. You'll play a key role in safeguarding our financial integrity and ensuring a secure and prosperous future for the credit union and our members.

WHAT YOU'LL DO :

Operate and Maintain Models: Keep our critical risk management models and tools in top shape, ensuring they function seamlessly.

Identify Improvements: Spot opportunities for model and process enhancements and support key projects and initiatives.

Update Product Models: Regularly update and refine product behavior models to keep them accurate and relevant.

Prepare Reports: Generate periodic reports for stakeholders, helping them make informed decisions.

Quality Control: Review and verify periodic reports before they’re shared to ensure accuracy and quality.

Support Data Collection: Aid in data collection and manage the monthly BDI process that feeds our models.

Communicate Changes: Keep stakeholders informed about changes to model structures and the addition of new product lines.

Perform Analyses: Conduct model sensitivities, scenario analyses, and ad-hoc analyses to aid our function.

Stay Knowledgeable: Maintain a deep understanding of fixed income and asset/liability management theory.

Understand Pricing Implications: Grasp the effects of product pricing, fees, prepayments, amortization, and optionality structures within our models.

Maintain Databases: Ensure our databases, methodologies, and knowledge bases are up-to-date and robust.

Document Processes: Thoroughly document processes within your area of responsibility and keep this documentation current.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or finance, or equivalent education and work experience.

Minimum of 5 years of related experience in a financial institution or comparable modeling work or educational experience.

Desired Qualifications:

Master’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance and/or CFA.

Knowledge of ALM, Fixed Income, Portfolio, Capital Markets and/or Option theory and their practical application.

Experience with Compass Analytics and Optimal Blue, or other Treasury risk management applications.

Excellent understanding of Fixed Income and Derivative instruments and markets.

Excellent understanding of Financial Institutions’ Balance Sheets and Income Statements.

Demonstrated experience with analytical principles and methodologies, and various practical applications.

Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
