Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop and maintain production schedules, ensuring timely release of production orders to meet delivery deadlines and optimize production efficiency.

  • Utilize SAP for planning and scheduling activities, ensuring accurate and efficient data management.

  • Collaborate closely with the internal material management team to ensure material availability for production, addressing potential issues.

  • Continuously analyze production processes to identify opportunities for improvement, enhancing productivity and reducing lead times.

  • Engage with the customer service team to align production schedules with customer requirements. Additionally, the role may entail collaborating with various Danfoss plants globally to ensure coherence and effectiveness in production planning strategies.

Background & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field.

  • +3 years of experience in production planning, preferably within a manufacturing environment, gained in medium to large-scale internationally structured manufacturing settings.

  • Strong proficiency in SAP and MS Office Suite.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Strong knowledge of Italian and English language (written & spoken).
