Meta Wireless Certification Engineer in Redmond, Washington
Summary:
Meta Reality Labs is redefining the-state-of-the-art in consumer electronics devices within the AI Smart Glasses and AR Glasses Categories. The Wireless Certification Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful certification of wireless devices for major tier 1 carriers.

Wireless Certification Engineer Responsibilities:
Carrier Test Planning and Execution: Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan wireless carrier tests. Execute carrier tests, provide reports, and ensure compliance with carrier requirements.
External Lab Support: Provide guidance and support to external labs on execution processes related to Meta devices.
Issue Analysis and Debugging: Analyze high-level modem logs to identify issues, debug problems, and report findings to development and cellular modem teams.
Test Sample Management: Manage test samples and RF configurations for various test categories.
Connectivity Certifications: Assist in executing connectivity certifications for Bluetooth, NFC, and Wi-Fi.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, external labs, and carriers to ensure successful certification and issue resolution.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, related field or equivalent work experience
4+ years of experience in wireless engineering working with Cellular Technology
Experience with carrier testing
Experience with modem log tools such as QXDM, QPST, and QCAT
Experience with cellular features like 5G / eMBB / Redcap, LTE, VoLTE, Vowifi, RTT, WEA, and A-GNSS
Experience with carrier-prescribed test cases (e.g., VZW and TMO lab conformance and AT&T 10776 lab tests)
Experience with Fit4Launch (F4L), AGPS field and Domestic FIT (DFIT) test cases and criteria, including the execution time and sample demand
Experience with test equipment such as R&S CMW/CMX500, Keysight, and Anritsu test boxes, tools, and test scripts
Communication skills including documentation and presentations

Experience in identifying and articulating problems or issues related to certification process and procedures
Experience collecting, analyzing and interpreting complex data from lab and field tests to identify trends, patterns and insights
Public Compensation:
$139,000/year to $200,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
