We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Marketing Manager, to build the team’s data and insights capability and lead the strategic use of data to influence marketing decisions across the team. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Partner teams to analyze market opportunities, Total Addressable Market (TAM), and revenue and pipeline trends. You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and enabling the industry marketing team with a comprehensive marketing metrics dashboard, encompassing marketing KPIs, product usage, revenue, adoption trends, integrated marketing signals, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across the organization to develop a comprehensive set of metrics across every stage of the marketing funnel and broader customer journey for Microsoft’s industry strategy and business priorities.

  • Influence product finance, sales finance, integrated marketing, research and insights team, sales, and engineering to adjust their reporting to fit the needs of Industry Marketing.

  • Create and maintain a net-new industry marketing metrics dashboard.

  • Help change the team culture to lean into using data and insights to drive product marketing decisions, with a focus on enabling the team on all available reporting surfaces.

  • Lead the team’s research capability, including an always on compete insights motion and executing discrete research projects.

  • Provide reporting and insights for cross-team workstreams like fiscal year planning and quarterly business reviews.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications (RQs/MQs)

  • Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in communications or product management

  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in communications or product management

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of experience working in the cloud and/or AI industry.

  • 5+ years of experience creating consumable measurements and insights

  • 5+ years experience working with data visualization tools like PowerBI or other comparable tools

Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business OR related field AND 6+ years experience in communications or product management

  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business OR related field AND 8+ years experience in communications or product management

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Experience with IaaS/PaaS/SaaS technology and Microsoft’s industry-specific products and solutions

Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
