Design, develop, modify, or evaluate electronic parts, components, integrated circuitry, or systems related to Microsoft technologies. Define design architecture and operating parameters for circuitry and microelectronic components. Research, design, develop, or test computer or computer-related equipment and select components or equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability. Analyze designs and components to establish operating parameters and performance requirements to define complete pre-silicon verification test cases. Develop test plans for the preparation and execution of design verification testing. Analyze data generated from test results to perform pre-silicon verification of operating parameters and performance requirements. Collaborate with cross functional teams to support product development. Generate documentation related to designs, including development status, technical specifications, functionality, compatibility with other devices, and testing procedures. Automate or develop systematic and efficient methods to detect hardware or software vulnerabilities. Telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.

Requirements:

-Education: Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

-Experience: 24 months experience designing, implementing, and testing computer hardware and software.

-Specific Skills: Experience must include 12 months of experience in each of the following: UVM; System Verilog; Python; Git; Coverage Analysis; System Verilog Assertions; and C++.

-Telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.

Pay Range and Benefits Information: The offered base pay range for this specific position (EG13859253), based in Redmond, WA (but telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.), is $145,000 to $175,000 per year.

Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.?  

At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
