We are looking for a Senior Product Manager in the Supply Chain Security Team you will join a team that will empower leaders and developers companywide to understand opportunities for improving developer productivity for their teams to help make Microsoft’s developers the most productive on the planet.  

You’ll play a crucial role in enabling and driving change by partnering with engineering leaders and developers from across the company. You’ll be establishing companywide communities to facilitate learning and accelerating change. You’ll regularly interact with top executives to tell the story of impact and learnings.

Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand Microsoft’s engineering systems, processes and security guidelines

  • Define the access management and identity product vision, prioritize features, gather requirements, and ensure initiatives align with business objectives

  • You will drive business impact across the organization and track success criteria for multiple feature areas. You’ll also identify long-term investment opportunities and engage partners to garner support for those feature areas.

  • You will help define a feature set and facilitate mid-level usability reviews with customers. You’ll own the roadmap for multiple feature areas, and will collaborate with a partner team to build golden configurations and drive scenario walkthroughs.

  • You will scale Product Marketing teams by helping build marketing, roll-out, and customer support plans. You’ll also promote the feature areas you worked on and present at large events.

  • You will partner with others to collect performance metrics and form hypotheses for complex technical needs in order to improve product development in targeted areas. You’ll also identify features to deprecate, manage customer communities, and build trust with targeted customers.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  • OR equivalent experience.

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  • OR equivalent experience.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
