Our work underpins Microsoft Cloud Operations & Innovation team growth and expansion into new markets and diverse customer requirements.We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Real Estate Portfolio Performance Manager.

You will be responsible for key real estate portfolio excellence and risk management activities, partnering with process owners across a broad set of stakeholders to advance performance management tools and rhythms of business.

You will develop and implement strategic decision-making models, and support the advancement of risk governance programs and processes that are critical to ensure compliance with risk mitigation strategies.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to assess performance and develop scalable methods to improve by evaluation and actioning performance opportunities and develop actionable insights relating to portfolio growth and cost management.

You will also conduct various analytics that enable data driven decisions, and execute processes, while working closely with key stakeholders to support global portfolio management operations.

This role will be a key stakeholder in business rhythms and enabling relationships with stakeholders to support our delivery model and ensure best in class performance across our global real estate portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Performance Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of real estate portfolio management process performance.

  • Portfolio Management process and tool creation, including leading the development frameworks and rhythms to successfully manage in partnership with key stakeholders.

  • Operate and continuously improve existing risk management program and processes that support portfolio management and performance excellence strategies.

  • Conduct periodic meetings with internal and external stakeholders to review satisfaction with current programs and processes.

  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, stakeholders, highlighting key performance metrics, portfolio performance, and strategic recommendations.

  • Research: Stay abreast of industry benchmarks and best practices impacting commercial real estate. Conduct analysis and prepare executive summaries to inform decision-making and strategy development.

  • Cross-functional collaboration & influence: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Lease Administration, Asset Management, Leasing, Finance, and Data Center Operations, Safety, and other disciplines to ensure alignment of objectives and execution of strategic initiatives.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in portfolio management and financial analysis.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Real Estate, Project Management, or related field AND 3+ years relevant experience

o OR 5+ years equivalent experience.

Other Qualifications :

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Real Estate, Project Management, or related field AND 5+ years Portfolio Management, Real Estate,

  • Or Office Management experienceo OR 7+ years equivalent experience.

  • Ability to work independently while maintaining all deadlines and critical date obligations.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively and build trust with colleagues.

  • Prior experience working with Supply Chain or Operations management, Portfolio Management and/or Manufacturing.

  • Ability to drive clarity, alignment and action using Microsoft Office tools.

  • Experience with data center related program management.

  • Experience with ERP and process workflow databases and reporting.

Real Estate Portfolio Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.
