The ECIF (End-Customer Investment Funding) Operations Controller is responsible for managing and optimizing the operational aspects of our investment fund processes. This role requires a deep relationship with Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) Core Program Owners, Area Win Room, and ECIF Operations, among others. You will possess the ability to work collaboratively with various teams, ensuring the effective and efficient allocation and use of ECIF.

Responsibilities

Analyzing Financial Data

  • Deep analytical and reporting capabilities which include leveraging Microsoft tools, reporting cubes, BI tools and other financial systems

  • Effectively managing and prioritizing multiple inputs, tasks and stakeholders, sometimes under tight deadlines

  • Applying critical financial analysis techniques to evaluate and enhance the impact of initiatives, projects, and/or decision-making

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field

  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, finance, or related field

  • OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 3+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance work experience

  • OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 5+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance work experience

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Funding Sources: Understanding when to leverage the appropriate funding source for ECIF

  • Program Knowledge: Ensuring adherence to Program requirements and guidance

  • System Approvals: Review and approve all requests landing on Americas Profit & Loss (P&L) Funded programs to ensure alignment with ROI requirements, milestone delivery timelines, and compliance

  • Root-cause Analysis: Investigate root cause analysis to understand challenges with approvals, ECIF delivery, accruals, and invoice payments

  • Ad-hoc reporting, training, and support: Provide requesters with information and guidance on how to utilize existing reporting to drive maximum utilization of ECIF

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Area Win Room, and vendor operation teams, to ensure efficient and effective end-to-end processes.

Financial Analysis IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $75,100 - $148,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $98,800 - $163,300 per year.
