We are in search of a Data Security Analyst based in Redmond, Washington, who will be tasked with supporting our team on a short-term contract basis. This role involves working in the telecom industry, focusing on ensuring the security and integrity of our data systems.

About the Role: As a Data Scientist, you will drive ongoing reporting and insights, interacting with stakeholders and contributing to a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Identify key learnings from analysis and synthesize them into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.

• Manage partnerships with Product, Marketing, and other teams to integrate insights into product decisions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop analyses that address their questions and needs.

• Deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete or dirty data, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.

• Work with the Engineering team to build and maintain reporting queries for monitoring business health.

• Maintain and develop dashboards in PowerBI to enable stakeholders to understand the business and support onboarding to other self-service tools.

• Manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from various sources using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques.

  Requirements

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in communication and stakeholder relationships.

• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

• Proficient in SQL; familiarity with SparkSQL, Databricks, or Azure Data Explorer is a bonus.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with dashboarding tools, PowerBI preferred.

• Proficient in Python; familiarity with PySpark is a bonus.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously.

• Excellent verbal, visual, and written communication skills.

• Local to the Seattle area.
