BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst 3 Job for an opportunity at Remote - Central time zone preferred but not required (Texas specifically)! Position Title: Business Analyst 3 Location: Remote - Central time zone preferred but not required (Texas specifically) Anticipated Start Date: ASAP Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. Top Skills: * Years of Experience Required: 3-5 overall years of experience in the field. * Degrees or certifications required: Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting or relevant field preferred. * Minimum 3-5 years of Knowledge of business and management principles involved in client Financial tools and resources (MSRA, MS Invoice, MyOrder, etc) * Minimum 3-5 years' experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerBI; Enterprise Application * Minimum 3-5 years' experience analyzing financial reports. Job Description: Summary: The main function of a business operations specialist is to support the Chief of Staff team, acting as a business analyst for non-IT projects or filling organizational roles above an administrative level, but below a management level. Other responsibilities may include tactical level coordination, analysis, and/or support for budget tracking, maintaining program management processes, including deadlines, metrics, reporting, and budget. The business operations specialist usually reports to a project manager or director. Previous MS work experience, including use of financial tools (MSRA, MS Invoice, MyOrder, etc) is required Job Responsibilities: * Tactical level coordination of cross-team Budget Management including Purchase Orders, Actuals, and Forecasting * Establish and maintain communication services across business units or from the project team to the organization. * Fiscal Month/Quarter/Year Close support and communications * Financial Reports, processes, and process improvement support and management * Team SharePoint management and support * PowerBI Dashboard and Report support and process improvement of Team's self-service resources * Ad hoc Business Management responsibilities to support the COS team Skills: * Strong analytical, communication, and cross-group collaboration skills * Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and manage one's time. * Knowledge of business and management principles involved in client Financial tools and resources * Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed. * Ability to analyze financial reports and work to ensure teams spend their allocated budgets, analyzing projections to update teams as appropriate. * Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerBI; Enterprise Application experience a plus. * Previous experience with client financial tools (MSRA, MS Invoice, MyOrder, etc.) Education/Experience: * Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting or relevant field required. * 3-5 years' experience required.
