Responsibilities

HIRING- REGISTERED NURSES

$30K BONUS

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.

  • Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.

  • Directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in Telemetry Unit.

  • He/She is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to their assigned patients.

  • He/She communicate with the physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.

  • Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.

Qualifications

TELEMETRY UNIT - Days 7am - 7pm or Nights 7pm -7am

Minimum Requirements :

  1. Current and valid state RN License. 2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current. 3. EKG certification required within 30 days of hire. 4. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.

    Preferred Qualifications : 1. Previous Acute Care hospital experience 2. Ventilator Management experience 3. Medical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) or similar certification 4. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

    EMERGENCY UNIT - Days 7am - 7pm or Nights 7pm -7am

    Minimum Requirements :

  2. Current and valid state RN License. 2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. 3. Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current. 4. Current PALS (AHA) certificate and/or ENPC 90 days upon hire and maintain current. 5. Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.

  3. Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintain current annually.

    Preferred Qualifications :

  4. Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; E.R. setting. 2. Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) 3. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

    Facility Specific Requirements (facility may require items listed below):

  5. In Paramedic Base Station ED: MICN within 12 months of hire and maintain current. 2. EDAP certified facilities: Completion of emergency pediatric course 1 and 2 within 6 months of hire. 3. Non OB facilities: NRP (AHA) certificate 90 days upon hire and maintain current. 4. Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNNC) within 12 months of hire required.

    ICU - Days 7am - 7pm or Nights 7pm -7am

    Minimum Requirements :

  6. Current and valid state RN License. 2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. 3. Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current. 4. Current PALS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current. 5. Minimum of one year previous Perioperative experience or on the job training

    Preferred Qualifications : 1. Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) Certification (AORN) 2. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

    Pay Range : $40.80 to $67.05, Night Shift Differential:$4.00 per hour

    The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
