Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will keep plant machinery and mechanical equipment in good repair with minimal technical guidance. You will examine machines to diagnose issues, dismantle machines, replace defective parts, reassemble machines, and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation. This role involves addressing emergency equipment repairs, completing preventive maintenance (PMs), assisting in complex changeovers, and working with other experienced mechanics.
Responsibilities

Address emergency equipment repairs.
Complete preventive maintenance tasks.
Assist in complex changeovers.
Work with other experienced mechanics.
Essential Skills
Electrical knowledge.
Troubleshooting.
Mechanical skills.
Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge.
Repair and preventive maintenance expertise.
Ability to read blueprints.
HVAC knowledge.
PLC troubleshooting and control.
Industrial equipment knowledge.
Understanding of schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Any type of classes or degrees in maintenance.

You will receive 120 hours of PTO in the first two years. Health benefits are provided by Signa Health Partners. On-site care is available 1-2 times a year for checkups and some dental work. The work environment is clean and climate-controlled. You will be provided with personal protective equipment (PPE) including eye protection and hearing protection if needed. We also reimburse steel toe shoes up to $100.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Red Wing, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $31.00/hr.
