Description

We are seeking a Business Analyst in the automotive industry, based in Raymond, Ohio. This role will involve engaging with various departmental design teams to resolve their application issues, facilitating data sharing and management with partner companies, managing the installation and updates of specific applications, and compiling weekly support activity reports for management.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with various departmental design teams to resolve their CAD/PLM application issues, including Teamcenter NX 3DExperience and CATIA V6.

• Provide guidance on best practices for utilizing Teamcenter NX 3DExperience and CATIA V6.

• Facilitate data sharing and management with partner companies.

• Support Unit Department Projects on 3DExperience CATIA V6 NX and Coordinate issues with international IT departments.

• Understand and convert different CAD formats.

• Manage the installation and updates of NX and Teamcenter.

• Collaborate with different departments for effective IT support.

• Compile weekly support activity reports for management.

• Develop and maintain documentation and installation procedures.

• Utilize skills such as Documentation, Reporting, Procedures, Design, Collaboration, Best Practices, Proficiency, Coordination, Data Management, Application Support, and CAD Software.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• 5-6 years’ experience with CAD/PLM tools such as Teamcenter, NX, 3DExperience, and CATIA V6.

• Proficiency in NX large assembly management, CATIA V5/V6 (3D Experience) modeling, and advanced data exchange methods.

• Experience in design using Teamcenter/NX applications and 3D Experience.

• Strong communication skills and ability to teach best practices in CAD & PLM.

Successful Candidate:

• It's desired if the candidate is proficient in NX large assembly management, CATIA V5/V6 (3D Experience) modeling, and advanced data exchange methods.

• Experience in design using Teamcenter/NX applications and 3D experience would be beneficial.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to teach best practices in CAD & PLM are a must.
