Actalent New Product Development Engineer in Raritan, New Jersey

Job Title: New Product Development EngineerJob Description

As a New Product Development (NPD) Contract Engineer, you will focus on technical writing and engineering tasks in support of new product development. Your responsibilities will include documenting development studies, performing studies to support new product activities, coordinating and submitting sample testing, supporting lab experiments, preparing samples for development studies, and managing ADAPTIV documentation processing including creation, submission, and approvals.

Hard Skills

  • Understanding of statistics and data analysis

  • Documentation of development studies

  • BS in Engineering (Biomedical, Mechanical, Polymer, Chemical, or related fields)

  • 1 year of experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, material science, or chemical engineering in a regulated space

Soft Skills

  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends

  • Strong technical writing skills

  • Effective coordination and management of documentation

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 1 Year(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Raritan, New Jersey and some days remote.

Work Environment

This role operates in an office environment with required onsite presence on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with the flexibility to work from home on Monday and Friday. There may be full-week onsite requirements during intensive hands-on work periods. General tasks include procuring materials and supporting a group that assists with material testing. Minor processing tasks in the lab may be involved.
