VCA Mather Animal Medical Center in Rancho Cordova, CA is seeking an experienced Client Service Professional to join our administrative team. We have a full-time position available, 8hr shifts, with the ability to work Saturdays.

In this role, you will work closely with our clients and veterinarians to provide outstanding customer service and facilitate access to medical care for our patients. In addition, the leadership team at VCA is committed to implementing innovative and effective ideas to change the future of veterinary medicine and we rely on your suggestions and feedback.

The ideal candidate must be passionate, professional, flexible, hardworking, efficient, reliable and friendly. As the face of VCA, the Client Service Representative sets the tone for the practice as we build and maintain each customer's trust and confidence in our abilities.

The CSR is the pivot around which the hospital operates and is responsible for:

• Providing excellent client service.

• Greeting visitors warmly, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.

• Scheduling patient appointments.

• Helping clients to understand the financial aspects of their visit; processing payments and insurance claims.

• Assisting clients in selecting the right products and services for their individual pet.

• Educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).

• Manage electronic medical records (EMR), reports and correspondence.

• Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times—both inside and outside.
