Life Fitness Material Handler III - 2nd Shift in Ramsey, Minnesota

*Join us as we empower the world to work out, creating healthier lives together.* *About the Opportunity:* JOB PURPOSE: Transport supplies, parts and product as required in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining accurate inventory counts and documentation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Coordinate with Supervisor/Lead to ensure timely set-ups in order to avoid or minimize down-time.
  • Organize, store, and transport parts and supplies as needed and complete all corresponding paperwork. (Routers, tags with proper part numbers, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate inventory. Report shortages/overages and supply needs to Supervisor
  • Operate forklift
  • Complete all transactions within Oracle accurately and in a timely manner
  • Assist Operators in delivering parts in order to maximize department efficiency

``` - Remove and distribute empty pallets and baskets as needed

``` - Place parts in proper location and clearly write on router

NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to operate a forklift and be forklift certified. (Forklift experience preferred)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English (read, speak and understand)
  • Ability to prioritize work with minimal direction
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and time management skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Submit to a visual acuity exam.
  • Lift up to 30 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally
  • Push/pull up to 25 lbs
  • Walk, stand, bend, twist/turn, reach overhead and grasp tools as necessary
  • Operate forklift for long periods
