About the role

The Senior Account Executive – Pharmaceutical (New Business)is focused on acquiring new clients in the Pharma industry. This individual will be responsible for driving sales of our pharmaceutical technology and professional services to new clients, with an emphasis on regulatory solutions that address critical industry needs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical space and a proven track record of closing complex, consultative sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Driving new business, including cold sales, in a consultative manner to achieve sales targets

  • Owning, developing and executing your territory plan and tactics in line with our business goals

  • Leveraging your network of data related buyer-personas in the CEMEA region to quality opportunities in your pipeline

  • Utilizing your consultative and value-based selling approach to identify business challenges and how we can solve these

  • Connecting business challenges and value drivers back to present your prospects with our data and value-based solutions

  • Achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals through embracing KPIs and supporting new sales initiatives

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate experience in using a data-driven approach to uncover insights and opportunities

  • Have excellent networking skills and the ability to utilize and build relationships with key people and customers

  • Enjoy collaborating with teams to solve problems and implement effective solutions

  • Have experience working on complex sales in a results-orientated environment

  • Demonstrate the ability to manage a sales pipeline and forecasting in a accurate manner

  • Have a proven track record in constantly meeting or overachieving on sales targets

  • Be willing to travel to meet target customers and prospects across the CEMEA region

  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences

  • Be pro-active and new business orientated with the ability to manage the sales-cycle and successfully close deals

  • Have great business development and B2B sales experience selling complex solutions in an consultative approach
