Red Hat Identity Access Management Engineer in Raleigh, North Carolina

The Red Hat Information Technology team is looking for an experienced IGA engineer to join the Enterprise Identity and Access Management team . IAM houses multiple technology solutions and business processes, to ensure the right people have access to the right assets ( corporate data and applications) and for the right reasons. It helps keep the risk of unauthorized access related impact at bay!

In this role, you will have the opportunity to own the end to end technical delivery of a brand new Identity Access and Lifecycle Governance system (IGA) from scratch. This is a great high visibility and high impact opportunity to bring innovative solutions to complex IAM problems. The customers and partners of this solution pan all across Red Hat Enterprise. You will also get to be a part of the future delivery of IAM vision and experience for Red Hat which begins with IGA but includes a lot of other initiatives in the authentication, PKI and other experiences.

What you will do

  • Partner closely with the IAM team, IGA program manager and other key stakeholders to understand business requirements, key deliverables, develop and integrate IGA solutions to meet those requirements with existing systems such as Workday, Directories, Salesforce, Gsuite, ServiceNow, Databases, Vault, Workplace solutions and other SAAS/OnPrem Apps

  • Participate actively in all the stages of the initiatives - Designing leaver/mover/joiner flows, RBAC and other access models, help program manager in creating agile deliverables estimation end to end, build, deployment, onboarding and integration of applications, testing,

  • Own the design and architecting of IGA solutions based on business requirements, industry best practices, and company standards. Configure IGA components, including roles, policies, workflows, connectors, and access certifications (Both standard and customized)

  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to project teams and other stakeholders during implementation and deployment phases, team stand-up, technical engineering discussions, change .control process, audit activities, business continuity efforts, and on-call rotation

  • Create or assist in the creation of following documents - technical designs, deployment guides, and operational procedures,user training and support materials for the team

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure clarity to program goals, commitments, risks, progress, and deliverable quality. Provide clear, consistent, and accurate status and progress of initiatives to IAM and partner teams, and executive leadership.

What you will bring

  • Minimum 5+ years relevant experience supporting, maintaining, integrating, and implementing IGA solutions in a hybrid environment

  • Hands-on technical experience with IGA solutions such as SailPoint/Saviynt/Forgerock and understanding of how it connects with IAM as well as other key systems in the enterprise such as Workday,Directory , Hybrid applications, endpoints and workplace technologies, RDBs, Webservices etc

  • IAM IGA domain knowledge - Lifecycle and Access Management, Compliance Management, RBAC, Governance, Leaver/Mover/Joiner experience, Attestations, Entitlements

  • Experience in one of the following - Java programming language, REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, Groovy ,PowerShell

  • Working knowledge in other IAM concepts and methodologies - Single Sign On, Multi-Factor Authentication, SAML, OAuth 2.0 and OIDC.

  • A can do mindset to problems combining communication skills, collaboration and drive to operate under a dynamic environment

  • Ability to stay updated with latest IAM trends, industry practices and influence on right architecture approaches

The salary range for this position is $94,010.00 - $150,410.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
