HireQuest Direct Buck Hoist Operator in Raleigh, North Carolina
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Buck Hoist Operator to join our construction team. The Buck Hoist Operator is responsible for operating the temporary construction hoist to lift personnel and materials between floors during the construction or renovation of buildings.
Responsibilities:
Operate the buck hoist to transport personnel and materials to various levels of the construction site.
Ensure safe and efficient operation of the hoist, adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols.
Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance of the hoist equipment.
Communicate effectively with the ground crew, site supervisors, and other construction personnel.
Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
Keep accurate records of hoist operations and maintenance activities.
Requirements:
Previous experience operating a buck hoist or similar construction equipment.
Knowledge of hoist operations and safety procedures.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Strong communication skills.
Physical stamina and the ability to work in all weather conditions.
