Randstad Professionals is seeking an Accounting Associate for one of their clients in the Raleigh market. The successful candidate will have an accounting background, comfortable with Excel, AP, and AR, and an accounting degree is preferred. This position is temp to perm and it is moving very quickly.

salary: $23 - $26.44 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable

• Process credit applications and set up new customers in the ERP system

• Post cash receipts daily within the ERP system and follow up on included

correspondence

• Coordinate with the collections specialist on invoices that have not been paid in

full

• Maintain customer files

• Accounts Payable

• Complete credit applications and set up new vendors within the ERP system

• Review vendor statements and follow up on missing paperwork

• Obtain approvals for distribution invoices and enter into the ERP system

• Assist with vendor payments

• Act as the main back up to the AP specialist

• Maintain AP discrepancy log

• Maintain vendor files

• Retail Store Distribution Accounting

• Maintain customer files within the ERP system

• Process deposits within the ERP system and the banking system

• Complete monthly activity reconciliations and research any discrepancies

• Issue wire and ACH transactions within the banking system

• Prepare monthly reports for customers

• Assist customers with any questions, when necessary
