Robert Half Project Administrator (IT) - Expert in Quincy, Massachusetts

Description We are in search of a skilled Database Administrator to work in Quincy, Massachusetts. The role centers around providing administrative and technical support for architectural and engineering projects. This includes tasks related to documentation, organization, and communication. The chosen candidate will be an integral part of our team, offering support to the project manager and other staff as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and schedule meetings and appointments related to projects

• Prepare and distribute correspondence, transmittals, and forms

• Create and distribute a variety of technical documents, ensuring proper tracking and follow-up

• Manage project documentation and maintain it in designated locations on our network system

• Assist project manager and design staff in the preparation of reports, spreadsheets, and presentations

• Provide administrative support for the function as needed and undertake project tasks as required or as requested by supervisor or project manager

• Handle Architecture Review Board related matters and respond to inquiries received from users in the Enterprise Architecture Review mailbox in a timely manner

• Attend various Architecture Review Board meetings, take meeting minutes, and follow up on action items

• Utilize communication, management, and office function skills to ensure high-quality work and efficient operations. Requirements • Proficiency in database administration

• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders

• Proven management skills to oversee database operations

• Familiarity with office functions and administrative assistance

• Ability to create, manage, and review documentation

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets

• Experience in training staff on database procedures and best practices

• Ability to plan, schedule appointments, and manage time effectively

• Knowledge of quality control and review processes in database management

• Design skills for database structuring and organization

• Capable of delivering presentations about database procedures and updates

• Proficiency in using workstation support tools

• Engineering skills for database structure optimization

• Familiarity with cloud technologies for database storage

• Knowledge of suppliers and their role in database management
