Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor in Quarryville, Pennsylvania

We have an excellent opportunity for Registered Nurse Supervisors to join our 5-STAR Nursing Team!

Our ideal candidate will have both hands on and leadership experience in nursing.  The primary responsibility of this role will be to work with our Director of Nursing, Administration and other RN Supervisors to lead and support the Skilled Nursing Team in all aspects of directing, coaching and monitoring the flow of the shift's work in accordance with federal and state regulations, community and department policies and procedures.

Full-time 2:45pm – 11:15pm-NO WEEKENDS! MONDAY-FRIDAY ONLY!

$5000 Sign-On Bonus 

Responsibilities:

Overall supervision on all units to promote teamwork and coordinate care

Assure delivery of quality care to all residents

  • Conduct daily rounds on each unit and ensure clinical issues are monitored and documented

  • Provides RN Supervisor's Clinical Shift report and follows up on any concerns

  • Reviews clinical 24-Hour Report and follows report protocol

  • Serves as Command Post Operator for the entire community

  • Review Nursing documentation to ensure completion and accuracy

  • Assists in the development of work assignments on units

  • Assesses all falls occurring on assigned shift and ensure compliance with QPRC policies

  • Provides direct nursing care as needed

    Position Requirements:

  • Current and valid RN license in the state of Pennsylvania

  • Degree from a State Approved Nursing School

  • Prior experience as a Charge RN or Supervisor a plus, but will train

  • Long term care experience preferred

  • Current CPR Certification (will train)
