Eaton Corporation Lead Analyst- Global Material Programs in Pune, India

What you’ll do:

"The primary role is to lead the Materials Management improvement initiatives for Global Eaton Businesses.

This individual will lead the intitiatives working with the global teams and Eaton sites for business process improvement in the area of materials management. This is a individual contributor role adept at owning and executing strategic, cross functional projects, developing new supply chain processes and horizontal deployment of best practices. The role will primarily focus on materials management but shall also encompass aspects of overall operations management for manufacturing.

The individual should have good general understanding of materials management with deep understanding of supply planning and inventory management concepts.

The indvidual is expected to have the ability to drive concept to solution journey involving ideation, analytics, project management and stakeholder management. While the role is of an individual contributor, given the scope of projects, the individual is expected to drive a cross functional team having a large span of influence which is critical to role success.

"• Demonstrate strong functional knowledge & working experience related to materials management & detailed understanding of concepts related to ERP data health,MRP.supply planning, replenishment planning & inventory management.

• Strong understanding of plant operations and manufacturing value stream in a discrete manufacturing environment

• Preferred hands on experience in plant/DC operations involving materials planning and inventory optimization

• Good understanding of quantitative supply chain including but not limited to concepts like cycle service levels, order fulfillment, on-time delivery, inventory turnover etc.

• Demonstrate a consultative mindset, critical thinking and ability to bring order to unstructured problems

• Role requires large project scoping, setting a vision, managing to project timelines and executive communication on status, risk and change management.

• Responsible for sharing with the team, best material management practices, continuous improvement of process, development of process standards, compliance with materials planning processes, and reporting in alignment with the regional and global supply chain organization

• Strong delivery focus with proven project management expertise in a global, multi-ERP, multi-business model landscape

• Excellent communication & presentation skills to work with global, regional & local materials management teams across the plants and divisional entities.

• Strong working knowledge of ERP systems preferably one out of SAP/ Oracle/ Mfg Pro

• A team player with willingness to work across multiple cross-functional engagements and learning agility towards adoption of digital tool and technologies.

• Comfortable in working across multiple geographies and global stakeholders

• Preferred understanding of big data concepts, visualization tools and query languages like data lake, cloudera, powerbi, SQL etc.

Qualifications:

Engineering Graduate + preferred MBA(Operations/Supply Chain)

8 to 12 years of relevant experience into Materials, Inventory Optimization & Inventory control.

Skills:

"• Proficient skills level in MS Office: Advanced Excel and Power Point presentations.

• Proficient and good hands on exposure on ERP (Preferred Oracle, SAP, Mfg. Pro)

• Preferred exposure into MS Access, SQL and PowerBI query building. "
