About the job
We are seeking a skilled Business/Functional Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will analyze business processes, gather requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to translate business needs into functional specifications.
Key Outputs
Work closely with stakeholders to identify and document business needs, processes, and requirements.
Analyze current business workflows and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Develop functional specifications, user stories, and process models to support solution design and implementation.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure business requirements are correctly translated into system solutions.
Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to gather feedback and validate requirements.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in troubleshooting issues during implementation.
Ensure alignment of solutions with business objectives, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
Document and maintain business process models, functional designs, and system documentation.
Provide ongoing support and training to business users as needed.
Education and experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong understanding of business processes, workflow analysis, and system design.
Proficiency in business analysis tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar.
Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
Skills and behavioral competencies
Experience with SAP/BW or Datasphere, Business Intelligence tools (Qlik, PowerBI,...)
Knowledge of SQL and data querying for analysis purposes.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements in the industry.
Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile Business Analyst are a plus.
Language skills
English (Mandatory), French (optional)
