What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Vice President, IT - APAC (Business Relationship Manager APAC/EITC Site Leader), and functionally to Vice President - IT, Partnership and Innovation, this person will be part of the information technology function and will have two primary responsibilities. The person will be responsible for ensuring the effective execution of value management strategies and governance of service providers. This person will also assist with business case management, vendor performance, address queries that may arise during program delivery and track service provider business cases vs actual value realized. Secondly, the person will be the product owner for software license management, responsible for managing how software licenses are procured, allocated, optimized and retired.

Key Responsibilities:

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Define and ensure the proper execution of vendor management and performance management of service providers

  • Develop and manage business cases by providing insightful analysis to support decision-making processes and ensuring comprehensive visibility into key metrics

  • Construct accurate and timely reports on progress and performance with a focus on identifying anomalies, variances, and areas for improvement

  • Establish and provide ongoing stewardship of the governance interaction model with third parties, ensuring the right stakeholders are involved in the support and oversight of the agreements

  • Establish and continuously evaluate existing vendor management processes and identify opportunities for improvement and driving change where necessary

  • Verify that Eaton and Service provider are meeting value commitments through rigorous financial analysis, invoice management, and benefits realization tracking

  • Maintain currency of contractual documents and provide ad hoc support for contract interpretations as needed by stakeholders

  • Provide regular updates to Eaton leadership on the service provider activities and

  • Ability to structure and drive large insourcing / outsourcing IT initiatives for large enterprises.

  • Supporting M&A and Divestiture initiatives (supplier consolidation / rationalization)

Software Asset Management

  • Formulate strategic licensing strategies to maximize business opportunities and optimize utilization ($120M software licensing spend) to drive cost out

  • Identify and implement opportunities for improvement, innovation and risk mitigation. Ensure compliance with policies, regulations and best practices.

  • Expand existing licensing portfolio, sourcing, servicing, and negotiating with suppliers

  • Manage all licensed functions, including license agreements, approvals, renewal

  • Develop strong relationship with both licensors and licensees to understand usage behavior

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required .An Advanced degree is preferred

  • Minimum 15 years of IT or business experience

  • Minimum 10 years of people management experience

  • Minimum 5 years leading global teams

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Asset Management

  • Demonstrated ability to assess and build organizational capability

  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor relationship management skills

  • Ability to develop and govern clear KPIs and metrics to derive key insights and accelerate data-driven decision-making

  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization

  • Execution and support of third-party resourcing strategy and operating model

  • Established and managed vendor governance forums, including performance and compliance

  • Experience in contract management and developing and managing CLAs and KPIs

  • Experience enabling data-driven decisions to improve team performance

  • Strong background measuring and driving business objectives across enterprises, preferably with a multinational company

  • Background in working in a cross-functional and collaborative environment

  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Requires strong analytical, problem solving, and action-driven competencies

  • Rapid and unanticipated changes, which require constant re-prioritizing, are to be expected in this position.
