Position Details:
Summary of Duties:
As a key member of our Fiscal Team in the Bursar's Office, you will play a crucial role in supporting department requests, student accounts, and accounts receivable. You will utilize established procedures and guidelines to perform tasks under general supervision. Your responsibilities will include account maintenance, reconciliation, and PeopleSoft/Workday integrations.
In this role, you will engage in various accounting and customer service activities, such as monthly reconciliations, balancing payments, and monitoring deposit activity. You will also provide support during high-volume periods in the Scholarship/Third Party areas and assist with other departmental functions as assigned by the Supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
• Three years of fiscal record keeping experience; OR equivalent education/experience.
• Extensive customer service experience working with the public.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency level with Microsoft software programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience using WSU systems.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency level with Microsoft or other database applications such as Access or FoxPro.
• Experience working in a busy office environment that requires multi-tasking.
Additional Information:
This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
Monthly Salary: $3,477 to $4,632 | Range 40 (Steps A - M) | Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with https://app.leg.wa.gov/wac/default.aspx?cite=357-28.
In accordance with https://app.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.
