Payroll Coordinator - Part Time Providence, RI The Greysmith Companies is hiring an experienced Payroll Coordinator to join our internal team. This is a 20-25 hour flexible in-office position located in Providence, RI. Interested candidates should have 2-5 years of experience processing multi-state payroll and working knowledge of payroll best practices. Responsibilities of the Payroll Coordinator ? Perform daily payroll department operations. ? Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely. ? Reconcile payroll prior to transmission. ? Process accurate and timely year-end reporting ? Process manual check and relocation metrics. ? Process new hire onboarding paperwork ? Perform pre-employment screenings and background searches ? Process company invoicing associated with weekly payroll ? Assist with month end close ? Ad hoc reporting ? Provide general support to Controller on project-based tasks. Requirements of the Payroll Coordinator ? High School Diploma and at least 2-5 years of experience processing multi-state payroll ? Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations ? Strong PC skills including proficiency in MS Office ? Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel ? Working knowledge of a 3rd party payroll system preferred ? Strong problem-solving and analytical skills ? Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills Schedule of the Payroll Specialist 20 to 25 hours per week In-Office Position with potential for a Hybrid schedule at completion of training. Monday through Wednesday are necessary, but hours and remainder of the week can be tailored by the ideal candidate if they result in a consistent schedule. []{style="f
