IT Business Systems Analyst

Location: Princeton, NJ

DSM-Firmenich is seeking a talented and experienced IT Business Systems Analyst that will serve as the bridge between the Digital & Technology (D&T) department and the Commercial Labs (Perfumery and Flavors Divisions) business units within our organization. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to understand their needs, align technology solutions with business objectives, and drive the successful implementation and execution of IT initiatives. Your role will be pivotal in driving digital transformation, enhancing operational efficiency, and fostering innovation within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application support for Perfumery and Flavors divisions in North and South America.

• Manage projects and initiatives for Perfumery and Flavors divisions in North and South America.

• Business Relationship Manger – Strategic business partner Perfumery and Flavors divisions in North and South America.

• Implement and support Lab 4.0 PE initiatives in North and South America.

• Provide proximity support as priveledge contact for FIRINC and FIRCITY and Latin America Sites

• Maintain Commercial Labs Software Portfolio.

• Approximately 20%; visits to Commercial Labs in North and South America

You bring:

• Bachelor’ Degree in Information Systems or equivalent job experience will be considered.

• 4+ Years proven experience as a Business Analyst or IT consultant, preferably in the R&D domain.

• Experience working in multi-location environment.

• Minimum 2 years delivering projects within the R&D business area.

• Strong understanding of Commercial Lab processes, methodologies, and best practices.

• Solid technical background and understanding of IT systems, applications, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Proficiency in requirements gathering techniques, process mapping, and solution design methodologies.

• Familiarity with project management principles and tools.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
