Robert Half Executive Administrative Assistant & HR Support in Princeton, New Jersey
Description
We are seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant & HR Support to join our client's team in the Princeton, New Jersey area. This role is primarily focused on supporting the President within the Wholesale Distribution industry, with a smaller component dedicated to assisting with HR functions.
Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the President, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
• Handle multiple projects concurrently, demonstrating the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attend senior team meetings, taking notes and following up with team members to ensure continuity and progress.
• Oversee contracts and work closely with the corporate legal department.
• Utilize technology to maintain accurate records and process applications.
• Support HR tasks as needed, contributing to overall team efficiency.
• Act as a point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, resolving inquiries and providing necessary information.
• Take charge of special projects assigned by the President, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion at all times.
Requirements
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is required.
• Experience in an Executive Administrative Assistant role or similar, preferably in a wholesale distribution environment, is necessary.
• Exceptional skills in Administrative Assistance, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence are needed.
• A strong understanding of human resources practices, laws, and regulations is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and HR software (like HRIS or HRMS) is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of management, are necessary.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, are required.
• The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity is necessary.
