Summary:

This position is responsible for providing project management support, managing the Business Resilience (BR) and the Emerging Risks Programs continuous improvement and strategic initiatives, and leading some Business Resilience capabilities. The Director, Business Resilience identifies new continuous improvement and strategic initiatives and works with the Head of Business Resilience and Director, Business Continuity Management & Continuous Improvement to prioritize and select initiatives for implementation. Additionally, this includes collaborating with the Business Continuity Management Program Management Office (PMO), the Corporate Event Response Team (CERT), Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and other vertical BCM programs to develop and complete projects. The Director, Business Resilience provides support for Business Resilience metrics and data analytics and has responsibility for collecting the data required to measure the impact of continuous improvement and strategic initiatives. Finally, this position supports Business Resilience and Business Continuity Management audit responses and provides crisis response support as needed.

  • Provides project management services and expertise to the Business Resilience Program and members of the BCM PMO and CERT (including the leads) to drive initiatives through completion.

  • Works with the Head of Business Resilience and Director, BCM & CI to help define Business Resilience policies and procedures.

  • Leads Business Resilience capabilities, including the Emerging Risk Resilience Capability

  • Defines metrics and measures for external reporting and internal continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Reports on Business Resilience metrics and measures, conveying this reporting to relevant business units, BCM PMO members, and other relevant stakeholders.

  • Supports and leverages Business Resilience data analytics.

  • Drives the implementation of global Business Resilience, and incorporates any changes driven by continuous improvement initiatives or policy changes.

  • Assists in audit responses for the Business Resilience Program

  • Leads process improvements for the Business Resilience Program

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ Degree Required, minimum of 7 years of experience and demonstrated success in positions of responsibility.

  • Effective collaboration skills with global teams and ability to work independently.

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines as well as the ability to manage in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experienced Project Manager preferred, with a focus in Continuous Improvement Initiatives in addition to large or global project expertise.
