Description

We are offering an opportunity in the Professional Services industry for a detail-oriented Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in Princeton, New Jersey. This role involves reviewing and managing extensive legal documents, particularly in the realm of mass torts and asbestos litigation. You will be working on a multitude of claims, some of which may have extensive supporting documents. This role necessitates a strong background in litigation document review.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze extensive legal documents related to mass torts and asbestos litigation

• Manage a substantial number of claims, ensuring thorough review and analysis of each

• Collaborate with a team to ensure quality control and accuracy in claim assessment

• Utilize legal software, such as LexisNexis and Microsoft Office Suites, for efficient document review and management

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards in processing sensitive legal information

• Participate in virtual interviews and meetings as required

• Utilize strong litigation document review skills to ensure thorough and accurate claim processing

• Collaborate with a document review supervisor and quality supervisor for project oversight

• Operate remotely when necessary, demonstrating strong independent work skills and ability to adhere to project timelines.

Requirements • Possess a professional degree in Law

• Proven experience as an Attorney/Lawyer in the professional services industry

• Proficiency in using LexisNexis for legal research

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook

• Demonstrated experience in case management systems

• Expertise in antitrust laws and civil litigation cases

• Experience in claim administration and class action lawsuits

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Solid understanding of professional ethics and standards of practice

• Must be licensed to practice law in the state

• Ability to interpret and apply complex laws and regulations

• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills

• Outstanding client service skills.
