About the internship:

As a People & Organization Intern at SIEMENS DISW South Africa, you will support our HR team by updating employee records and maintaining internal databases. You will gather payroll data, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and post job ads. Additionally, you will prepare HR-related reports, address employee queries, distribute company policies, and help organize company events. This role offers comprehensive experience in various HR functions, providing valuable insights and practical skills in the field.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Previous experience or coursework in HR or a related field is a plus

Responsibilities for People & Organization Intern:

  • Updating Employee Records: Maintain internal databases with new employee information, such as contact details and employment forms.

  • Payroll Data Gathering: Collect payroll data, including working hours, leaves, and bank account information.

  • Screening Resumes: Assist in screening resumes and application forms during the recruitment process.

  • Scheduling Interviews: Help schedule interviews for potential candidates.

  • Posting Job Ads: Involved in posting job advertisements on various platforms.

  • Preparing HR-Related Reports: Assist in preparing reports related to HR activities.

  • Addressing Employee Queries: Handle employee queries and distribute company policies.

  • Organizing Company Events: Participate in organizing company events and activities.
