This position\'s primary function will be cataloging of library materials.

\ Under general supervision, provides a variety of library support services including basic to intermediate cataloging activities.

Major Duties, Responsibilities

• Adds items to existing bibliographic records in the integrated library system.
• Creates, removes, and updates bibliographic records in the integrated library system.
• Assists with monitoring the integrity of all bibliographic records added to the integrated library system.
• Creates cataloging reports as necessary.
• Interacts with other Library Network library staff to resolve cataloging issues related to the processing of library materials and managing bibliographic records.
• Prepares physical items for public use including, but not limited to, barcoding, RFID-tagging, adding spine labels and property stamping.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
