We are looking for passionate people with experience working with all service aspects of high throughput, excellent customer service, ability to design components carefully, properly handle errors, write clean and well-factored code with good tests and good maintainability.

As a Solution Architect specializing in Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability, you will play a crucial role in enabling customers to achieve their goals through strategic investments in Microsoft technology. Leveraging your expertise in Power Platform, Azure, or Data & AI solutions, you will lead technical discussions with customers, guiding them to extract maximum value from their Microsoft investments and identifying solutions to overcome challenges hindering the success of their projects. Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

Solution Design and Architecture:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements related to sustainability initiatives.

  • Design end-to-end solutions that align with customer business outcomes utilizing Microsoft Cloud for Sustainablity, Power Platform, Fabric, and Azure Data services.

  • Create architectural blueprints, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

Identify, Curate, and Deliver:

  • Identify patterns where additional resources are needed for education purposes.

  • Curate content that meets the needs for level 100 – level 400 and satisfies the appropriate audience persona that needs to consume the material.

  • Deliver training material either virtually or in person.

Fabric Data Skills:

  • Design data solutions using Fabric services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Synapse Analytics.

  • Implement data governance, data tagging strategies, and data security best practices.

  • Utilize Kubernetes and microservices for data sharing, storage, reliability, and high availability.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with stakeholders, including sustainability leads, emissions analysts, and IT administrators.

  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and communicate effectively with development teams.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (OR equivalent work experience) or related technical discipline AND senior technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect, preferably in sustainability-focused projects.

  • Strong knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate).

  • Proficiency in Fabric and other Azure Data services (Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics).

  • Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance.
